Reflection Journal

A guided exploration of written contemplation — learning to observe your thoughts and observations with patience and without judgment. Educational course only; not counselling or therapy.

The art of thoughtful observation

Writing can be a useful tool for slowing down. This course introduces reflective practices that help you reflect on experiences, clarify thoughts, and document your journey toward a more intentional life.

There is no correct way to journal. Our approach emphasises curiosity over perfection, presence over productivity.

Course Format

Self-paced modules with guided prompts, contemplative exercises, and space for personal exploration. Return to materials whenever you wish.

Course Fee

NZD $149 (including GST). One-time payment for ongoing access to all four modules while the course is offered. Enrolment is confirmed after payment via our contact process. See our Return Policy for refund terms.

Modules and practices

  • Foundations of reflective writing — establishing a personal practice
  • Observational prompts — noticing details in everyday moments
  • Noticing emotions — observing patterns through writing, without clinical analysis
  • Seasonal reflections — aligning your practice with natural rhythms
  • Closing rituals — bringing each session to a gentle conclusion

Anyone interested in a calmer writing practice

Whether you have never kept a journal or have abandoned the practice, this course meets you where you are. No prior writing experience is needed — only a willingness to slow down and listen.

Duration

Four self-guided modules, designed to unfold over several weeks at your own pace. Materials remain accessible indefinitely.
